AndroMeld Now Seamlessly Connects Android and Mac
It's Friday again, which means another new release day. This week's release is AndroMeld.
This tool lets your Android device and Mac connect seamlessly, and it's ideal for users who need to manage an Android phone and run Android apps on their Mac.
What makes it seamless?
Connect them via wired / wireless methods, and then you can do the following directly on your Mac:
Open Finder and directly read and write files on your Android device;
Run apps from your Android device in a separate window;
Show Android notifications in the Mac Notification Center;
Connect an AI Agent and let it directly control your Android device;
And much more...

If you're looking for a tool that connects Android to Mac, visit LIZHI.SHOP to learn more about AndroMeld.

Two connection methods
Using AndroMeld is very simple. You just need to:
Install AndroMeld from the Mac App Store;
Turn on Developer options on your phone;
Connect your phone to your computer with a data cable, or connect them to the same Wi-Fi.
After launching AndroMeld, follow the prompts to complete setup easily.

Clipboard & notification sync
Once connected, the first features you can try right away are clipboard and notification sync.
Clipboard sync: copy on one device, then paste on another, making cross-device transfer of text or images easy.

This can go from computer to phone or from phone to computer; either direction works.
It delivers an experience similar to using an iPhone together with a Mac.
Notification sync: notifications received on your Android device appear in real time in the macOS Notification Center — convenient for copying verification codes and other information received on your Android phone.

Manage files in Finder
AndroMeld also supports mounting your Android device's storage in Finder on your Mac.
This makes it easy to copy / move / edit / delete files on your Android device in folder form, enabling file management after connecting an Android phone to a Mac.
For example, on the phone I tested, I could mount not only the Storage card folder (which stores data for various apps) and the Camera folder (which stores photos and videos taken with the camera), but even the root directory, making it easy to access system files and data.

Run Android apps on Mac
With AndroMeld, you can also run apps already installed on your Android device directly on your Mac!
For example, when I wanted to test how the software store website looks when browsed on a phone, I could do the following directly on my Mac:
Swipe on the home screen to find the browser, click it with the mouse to open it, enter and visit lizhi.shop, type PDF in the search box, and press Enter...

In this process, you don't need to touch your phone; you only need to use your computer's keyboard and mouse to control the phone and view the phone screen on your computer monitor — cross-device productivity at full efficiency!
Of course, the above is just basic usage in screen mirroring mode. AndroMeld also supports a more advanced mode — Fusion mode.
In Fusion mode, Android apps can run on a virtual screen and appear as separate Mac windows! The phone itself can continue with other tasks, or even remain on the Lock Screen.

▲ Open Android apps in separate windows
The screen can be zoomed and rotated... You can even achieve same-screen multitasking on your Mac!
For example, I can play an Android game while using a dedicated Android app to look up gameplay guides.

Let AI Agent control your device
The last feature I want to introduce is the one I find most interesting!
I've been exploring — how can I make my phone take action on its own and work for me?
The approach I tried before was to use a Mac + Python to control an iPhone, then learn how to use Appium almost from scratch, which took a lot of time — but this approach was too complex and had too many problems. The final result was from getting started to giving up.
By comparison, AndroMeld's approach is practically foolproof — really So easy!
To put it simply, AndroMeld has a built-in MCP server that lets an AI Agent directly see and operate our Android device.
All we need to do is install AndroMeld on the Mac and configure an AI Agent, such as OpenClaw.
Then send the prompt provided by AndroMeld to the AI Agent, wait for it to automatically complete the relevant configuration, and you can start giving it commands — control your phone and complete the tasks you request.

For example, I told the AI: Try searching for Shanghai weather in the phone browser.
The AI then followed my request: found and opened the browser on the phone's home screen, tapped the search box, entered Shanghai weather and searched... and finally returned the result to me.

▲ Automatically operates and records the complete steps

Final thoughts
AndroMeld is really powerful! However, its device OS version requirements are a bit demanding.
macOS15 or later + Android14 or later.
If your device meets the requirements, you can learn more about AndroMeld's features and user experience.
That's AndroMeld, released this week at LIZHI.SHOP, a tool that seamlessly integrates Android and Mac.
It supports USB or Wi-Fi connections, lets you run apps from your phone directly on your Mac, manage files, and sync notifications and clipboard.
